What biztester.com is
biztester.com is a set of free checkers for owners of small businesses. You enter your own numbers and facts. The checker shows what the tax code and your state’s rules say about them, line by line, with each source linked and dated.
The first checker estimates what an S-corp election would change for a single-owner business: the payroll tax it can save, the costs it adds, and a salary range for your job and area.
What it is not
- We are not a CPA firm, a law firm or a tax preparer. Nothing on this site is tax, legal or accounting advice.
- We do not tell you what to decide. A checker reports what the numbers and the rules say. You and your own advisor decide.
- We are not a government site, and we are not connected with the IRS or any state agency.
Who publishes it
Binary Glyph Media, LLC, an Ohio company, publishes biztester.com. We write and check every page ourselves, from the statutes, regulations and agency guidance that each page cites. Our page How we check facts explains the method.
How the site is funded
The site is free to use. Some links to products such as payroll services are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a fee. It costs you nothing extra, and it never changes the numbers a checker shows. Our affiliate disclosure explains how this works.
What you type stays with you
The checkers run in your browser. The figures you enter are not sent to us or stored by us. Our privacy policy lists what the site does collect.
